Consultation & Supervision

For clinicians seeking support working with 2SLGBTQIA+ clients.

I offer consultation and supervision services to clinicians who are looking to deepen their work with 2SLGBTQIA+ clients, develop cultural humility, and build confidence in gender-affirming and informed-consent approaches.

Consultation/supervision may be a good fit for you if you are

  • Already working with 2SLGBTQIA+ clients and wanting to deepen your practice

  • Navigating complex or ethically nuanced situations working with identity exploration, relational dynamics, or trauma

  • New to working with 2SLGBTQIA+ clients and wanting to build competence and confidence in your approach

  • Seeking support integrating gender-affirming care within your existing clinical approach

  • Looking to think through cases with greater depth, nuance, and flexibility

My approach to consultation

My approach goes beyond foundational knowledge, and focuses on helping you think through the clinical, relational, and systemic dimensions of your work.

This can include supporting clinicians in feeling more confident working with clients who present with non-linear gender trajectories, including experiences of detransition, and in offering care that moves beyond narrow or overly prescriptive narratives of gender.

In our work together, we may explore:

  • Identity development and exploration

  • Working with complex presentations where gender identity intersects with neurodivergence and/or trauma

  • The broader systems shaping clients’ experiences (e.g., healthcare access, policy, social context)

Clinical and systems-level expertise

My consultation work is informed by both clinical practice and extensive involvement in advocacy and system-level initiatives in trans health, including contributions to policy, education, and healthcare practice.

This allows for a consultation approach that is grounded not only in clinical expertise, but also in an understanding of the broader ethical, policy, and social contexts shaping this work.
